However, for some reason i've been getting ping spikes that affect my gameplay while playing league of legends. I set my bitrate to 500 and 1000 and for my 5.5mb/s upload speed and the recommended 2000-3000 bitrate i thought i Oct 9, 2023 · For over two years I have played League of Legends with over 300ms ping. However, I finally decided to fix this unbearable ping and stop acting like a noob. It wasn’t easy, but after loads of research, community interactions, chatting with multiple game support representatives, and some experiments, I managed to lower by ping to as low as 70ms. Fun part from me. I had big issue with my ms going up to 80ms. Sooo, at this moment my monitor is a 75h one so I capped my fps to 80. That moment I noticed my ping is going from 80 to 83 in a very high and fps refreshing kinda speed. I uncapped my fps again and my ms went back to 32ms. I was able to replicate that in every game so i´ve also had massive FPS drops (160 to 30 since Darius patch, LoL apparently uses like 1.5 of my 6 gigs of ram, and i bluescreen from overheating my laptop within 4-5 hours of playing League, even if it was only for 20 minutes) ontop of a rise in ping (occasionally i will just jump to 200-300 for no reason).
